S.O.498(E).– In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Cess (Amendment) Act, 2003 (19 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the 6^th day of May, 2003 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
