Films on Environmental related Areas

Recognising the role of the electronic media in spreding the message of environmental conservation and creation of environmental awareness, the Ministry of Environment and Forests has been extending financial assistance to film producers for production of films on various aspects of environment.These films are telecast by Doordarshan in the National Network as well as by the Regional Kendras.Besides this, attempts are also made to distribute these films to various institutions and the public through ET&T on reasonable payment.One hundred and thirty films have been produced so far and most of these have been forwarded to Doordarshan for telecast.
